^A very strange and strong solar event took place on June 04 at 20:45 UTC. There was neither a related X ray burst nor any rise in proton flux. ACE/EPAM noticed a high rise ( 10- 20 times above normal values) in electron flux from the Sun, while images on SDO showed a bright event engulfing the entire Sun > The effects however continued still on June- 05- watch the video ^

Swarms of unknown spiders spread panic across Assam, India

Panicked villagers in a remote Indian state complained Monday of an invasion of giant venomous spiders that resemble tarantulas but are unknown to local specialists. Indian media said that a dozen people had been bitten and treated in hospital, with two unconfirmed deaths reported. Two people died in Tinsukia district after local healers used razor blades to drain the wounds. It’s not known if the victims died from spider poison or from the attempted treatment. Local magistrate Kishore Thakuria said the victims were cremated before autopsies could be done. According to L.R. Saikia, a scientist from the department of life science of Dibrugarh University in Assam, the spiders are akin to tarantula but they are still not sure what this particular species is. ...read more...

SDF Number 159 Issued at 2200Z on 07 Jun 2012 IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 06/2100Z to 07/2100Z: Solar activity was low. Several C-class flares were observed over the past 24 hours. The largest was a C9/2n flare observed at 07/1543Z from Region 1499 (N15W09). This region produced five other low level C-class flares during the period. Region 1494 (S18W19) grew slightly and was also responsible for five low level C-class flares during the period. These regions were classied as Cai and Dso type groups, respectively, both with beta-gamma magnetic characteristics. Region 1497 (S21W44) decreased in areal extent since yesterday, but remained the largest region on the disk and was classified as a Dai type group with beta magnetic characteristics.

(INTERNAL RESEARCH PROJECT) : CMEs and RELATED TERRESTRIAL EFFECTS

UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE UNCOVERED PROOFS THAT NASA/NOAA FAKE SOLAR OBSERVATORY REPORTS BY ERASING IMAGES OF CRITICAL SOLAR EVENTS FROM THEIR WEB ARCHIVES :

I feels sad about NASA, since I had realized yesterday , that NASA/ NOAA operators ( as everyone can prove by my video) ERASE CRITICAL SOLAR EVENTS from their image archives, such as the MASSIVE ELECTRON OUTBURST on June 04/ 20:45 UTC and the following solar ELECTRON storm that lasted until the next day...( read all about that issue in blog of June 05). However- there is no alternative to NASA spacecrafts

remark: INFLUENCES OF CH SOLAR WIND STREAMS ON TERRESTRIAL CME BEHAVIOR/ EFFECTS: Its hard to detect CMEs (but even not really possible to track CME arrivals) on the geomagnetometers during stronger CH influences such as geomag. turbulences, resp. geomagnetic storms conditions as going on right now. Earth directed CH streams become the dominante solar wind source and mix up the geomagnatic field and its charges (turbulences> geomag storms). Due to previous observations of CH high speed solar wind streams it must also be assumed, that Earth directed CHstreams can strongly influence- RATHER NEUTRALISE- alson CME clouds on their way to Earth . Observations show also that major Earthquakes seem rather to be seldom while CH influences are dominant. My forecasts therefore assume, that NO major Earthquakes are expectable during stronger CH influences. The geomagnetic storm caused by the large CH 520 however slowly began to ease on June 06

Earthquake recorded off west coast of Ireland

An earthquake measuring 4.0 magnitude has struck off the west coast of Ireland. It happened 60 km off the County Mayo coast at 08:58 BST. According to the British Geological Survey (BGS), which monitors earthquake activity, it was strong enough to be felt in the county. The BGS said it had not recorded an earthquake of that magnitude in that area previously. Tom Blake from the Irish Seismic Network said the quake was the strongest since 1984 when an intermediate tremor of 5.4 was recorded in the Irish Sea. ...read more...

JAPAN: MASSIVE SARDINE EXODUS! WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT SARDINES?

      20120606 report by: thewatchers

Tons of dead sardines washed up at the fishing port of Ohara, Japan

Something terribly fishy is going on at the fishing port of Ohara (pronounced Oh-hara) in Isumi City of Chiba Prefecture, and it has nothing to do with espionage or political corruption. There are tons and tons of dead sardines washing up on the shore, and not only is the sight disturbing, but the huge amount of dead fish is literally smelling up the entire surrounding area...read more...

What exactly caused this masssive fish exodus remains unclear: WHERE METHANHYDRATES RELEASED WITH RECENT OFFSHORE QUAKES OR WAS/IS IT GEOMAGNETIC STORM?

UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE UNCOVERED PROOFS THAT NASA/NOAA FAKE SOLAR OBSERVATORY REPORTS BY ERASING IMAGES OF CRITICAL SOLAR EVENTS FROM THEIR WEB ARCHIVES :

SDO and STEREO had a transmission failure or where shut down - however have not yet transmitted images of the related event. Since yesterday I also know, that NOAA/ NASA erases images of solar events it REGARDS OBVIOUSLY as UNAPPROPRIATE FOR THE PUBLIC! images above/ June- 06- 2012: (1) a larger flare was observed on STEREO

(2) The same CME was observed on SoHO at 10.54 UTCand expanded into SOUTH WEST DIRECTION. During June 06, a slight increase in radiation and/ or solar particle passing by at SoHO could be observed as well . I don`t know whether particles or a CME was unleashed with that strange electron storm(?) observed along with a sudden at least 10 times increase in electron flux measured by ACE/EPAM on June 05 after 20:00 UTC or how far eventually ejected material was accelerated. Also the ( European) SoHO spacecraft has not transmitted image of the later M 3 event at 20:00 yet, but has the only full coverage of JUNE 04- 06.

(3) SDO imag show several unclear activities between 10 and 12:00 UTC .The second M 3 event at 20:00 UTC impulsive flare?) had its source obviously in the large single sunspot of AR 11494, which is just crossing the central meridian. The event in AR 11494 ( currently the largest sun spot on the visible disc)

Joint USAF/NOAA Report of Solar and Geophysical Activity SDF Number 158 Issued at 2200Z on 06 Jun 2012 IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 05/2100Z to 06/2100Z: Solar activity was moderate. Region 1494 (S18W06) produced an M2/1b at 06/2006Z associated with Type II (est. speed 1148 km/s) and Type IV radio sweeps. An associated CME was first visible in SOHO LASCO C2 imagery at 06/2036Z. Further analysis will be conducted as more images become available to determine geoeffectiveness. A filament eruption was observed in SDO AIA 193 imagery around 05/1945Z near N12W10. The CME was first visible in STEREO COR 2 imagery at 05/2039Z. The majority of the ejecta appears to be north of the ecliptic plane, however, there is a weak Earth-directed component. A model run is in progress to determine geoeffectiveness. The Penticton 10 cm Flux value was estimated due to flare enhancement.

Volcano causes concern in PNG

Residents living around Manam Island off Madang in Papua New Guinea have been warned to take precautions after volcanic eruptions on the island.Manam is one of PNG's most active volcanos and recent explosions in the craters have been heard 15 kilometres away. Ima Itakarai from Rabaul's Volcanology Observatory says he doesn't believe a major eruption is imminent, but it cannot be ruled out. "There has been an ongoing mild eruptive activity happening at one of the craters on the side of Manam," he said. "That activity has consisted of occasional plumes, coming up every now and then, with a bright glow at night". ...read more...

            20120605 report by: alien-homepage.de

<< What was that?

I just reviewed SDO images of today and just can say: AN EXTRAORDINARY ELECTRON OUTBURST ( something I have not observed yet since begin of my documentary in May 2010) OCCURED ON THE SUN on June 04/ 20: 45 UTC time . I recorded the SDO images. This video and a preliminary report is posted on the blog of June 04 ( scroll down)

THE SDO REAL TIME IMAGE the one you find on this page in the left upper corner) lighted up in an unusual way this morning. Those overlightenings are not unusual ahappen quite often during Solar eruptions and X ray bursts. The high frequency x ray bursts then overlapse the transmission frequencies of these Satellite transmission of data like images. Transmissions however resumes, when the main event is over. . However: ( read yesterday`s report) SDO has NOT transmitted ANY image yet since the sudden powerful M 3 x ray burst occured on June 3 at 17: 55 UTC from an impulsive flare in AR 11496. And this is an unusual long time for a transmission gap! The extreme short and powerful event triggered a shock wave running over the Northeastern solar sphere soon after ( "Solar Tsunami"). The 11 year solar cycle is now- 2012 coming to its activity peak . Since End of April 2012 , the Sun produced minor and at least partially Earth directed CMEs almost every day and performs all kind of eruptions

TRANSITS AND ECLIPSES

            20120605 report by: alien-homepage.de

wikipedia

An eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when an astronomical object is temporarily obscured, either by passing into the shadow of another body or by having another body pass between it and the viewer. An eclipse is a type of syzygy.[1](wikipedia)

The planets orbits have an declination of just some ancle degrees against the Sun`s equatorial plane . All planetary orbits including their lunar orbits are almost parallel (their closest and farthest points/ distances to the Sun`s equatorial plane are CURRENTLY in PISCES AND VIRGO; their soltices in Taurus and Scorpius). . Both if these traditional astronomical measure points wander in 72 years one degree retrogradeThe" soltice points" of the most. resp all (?) planets and moons are identical with the two ends or "cutting points" of their formed orbital plane -currently on 5 ! GEMINI AND SAGITTARIUS- their deepest and highest position above the Sun`s equatorial plane nearby about at !28° ? TAURUS and SCORPIUS, their planetary and lunar NODES are currently also in TAURUS AND SCORPIUS . These position were corrected in 2010 by the astronomical society "

The reason for these regular adjustments is, that all these three astronomical parameters WANDER" backwards ( "retrograde" in the ecliptic with a rate of 1 ancle degree in 72 years. ( complete period: 25.920 years. In real terms, The soltice point moves in direction of Taurus and the soltice points in direction towards Scorpius and TAURUS ) MOstn interestinly for me was that in the year 2012 all these three mesaure points are almost identical in the same regions TAURUS and SCOROPIUS!

Eclipses can generally occure each time ,if two planets or their moons align with the point of any OBSERVERwho realizes the event THEN AN a TRANSIT.To producea shadow for an eclipse or obscuration it needs light . As the oberver mostly is situated on one of the three involved celestial bodies, BOTH ECLIPSES AND TRANSITS REQUIRES THE ALIGNMENT OF THREE CELESTIAL BODIES. And this alignment only takes place on the node points ( total eclipse) or near to the NODE POINTS (partial eclipse) as described above currently in TAURUS AND SCORPIUS. TRanits and eclipses ar one and the same with the difference that a venus trasnit over the solar disc does not obscure the sun such as LUNAR ECLIPSE DOES . ( wehreby a lunar eclipse is also a transit of the moon over the Sun disc.)

(Conjunction) . As Mercury`s orbital period is just around 88 days, those " conjunctions/ alignments of Earth, Mercury and the Sun happen quite often . Alignments between Earth Venus and the Sun are quite rare, because Venus has a rotation period of 227 days and the earth a period of 365,25 days. Allthough VENUS AND EARTH MEET EACH OTHER all 5 years ( closest approach) . This can be on the siceric position of LEO, AQUARIUS OR WHATEVER. But to watch a transit (eclipse of Venus over the Sun disc) it requires that third factor: that both planet must meet each other as near to their common NODE POINT as possible . ( NODE POINT= one of the TWO points where the parallel declined orbital planes of all planets and moons CROSS the SUN`s S EQUATORIAL PLANE- as mentioned in TAURUS AND SCORPIUS.

PLANETARY ECLIPSES > Due to my astronomical calendar (Raphaels ephimeris of planets") socalled " planetary eclipses occure obviously quite oftener in 2012 the last years 2012 than in the years before. A planetary eclipse occurs if a planet crosses the Earth` equatorial plane during such an alignment/ conjunction , and the Earth with the Sun in its back would make a shadow wandering over the planet. ( the planet otherwise would also make a shadow on the Earth if there would be any light source behind that planet). Any unusual increase/ accumulation beside the periodical eclipses and/ or transits would - due to the planets supposed fixed course- be extraordinary and paradox and could only happen , if the declination of planetary orbital plane would change by any cause for some degrees towards a parallel state of the Sun equator with the overall planetary orbital plane . Some ancient sources ( such as Platon) however describe those events , as many scientists and researchers believe .

A transit however is an event, if any planet crosses at least the Sun disc disc as seen from the Earth or would pass above any plante s visible`disc. One can also call that Venus tranit on June 06 " partial solar eclipse" ( as the planet just makes a tiny dark spot on the Sun disc. Such a "solar transit" however can only happen with one of the planets between Earth and Sun (Mercury or Venus. resp. the Earth Moon)

VENUS TRANSIT TODAY- JUNE- 06- 2012

            20120605 report by www.bbc.co.

wikipedia

A transit is the astronomical event that occurs when one celestial body appears to move across the face of another celestial body, hiding a small part of it, as seen by an observer at some particular vantage point. If the first celestial body hides a major part, or all of, the second celestial body, then it is an occultation rather than a transit.(wikipedia)

Venus to put on Sun spectacular

Planet Venus is set to move across the face of the Sun as viewed from Earth. The more than six-and-a-half-hour transit, which starts just after 22:00 GMT (23:00 BST) on Tuesday is a very rare astronomical phenomenon that will not be witnessed again until 2117. Observers will position themselves in northwest America, the Pacific, and East Asia to catch the whole event. But some part of the spectacle will be visible across a much broader swathe of Earth's surface, weather permitting. Skywatchers in UK, for example, will catch the end of the transit at sunrise on Wednesday....read more...

NASA/ EXACT SCIENTIFIC DATA ON VENUS TRANSIT ( 20120606)

        2012 report by: eclipse.gsfc.nasa

VENUS TRANSIT ON JUNE- 06- 2012 (click on:Table 2A (international) and Table 2B (USA to check visibility in your region)

Transits of Venus across the disk of the Sun are among the rarest of planetary alignments. Indeed, only six such events have occurred since the invention of the telescope (1631, 1639, 1761, 1769, 1874 and 1882). The next two transits of Venus will occur on 2004 June 08 and 2012 June 06.

The principal events occurring during a transit are characterized by contacts. The event begins with contact I which is the instant when the planet's disk is externally tangent with the Sun. The entire disk of the Venus is first seen at contact II when the planet is internally tangent with the Sun. During the next several hours, Venus gradually traverses the solar disk at a relative angular rate of approximately 4 arc-min/hr. At contact III, the planet reaches the opposite limb and is once again internally tangent with the Sun. The transit ends at contact IV when the planet's limb is externally tangent to the Sun. Contacts I and II define the phase called ingress while contacts III and IV are known as egress. Greatest transit is the instant of minimum angular separation between Venus and the Sun as seen from Earth's geocenter.

The global visibility of the 2012 transit is illustrated with the world map in Figure 3 (Low Res or High Res). The entire transit (all four contacts) is visible from northwestern North America, Hawaii, the western Pacific, northern Asia, Japan, Korea, eastern China, Philippines, eastern Australia, and New Zealand. The Sun sets while the transit is still in progress from most of North America, the Caribbean, and northwest South America. Similarly, the transit is already in progress at sunrise for observers in central Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and eastern Africa,. No portion of the transit will be visible from Portugal or southern Spain, western Africa, and the southeastern 2/3 of South America.

Note that due to the International Date Line the Western Hemisphere will see the transit on June 5.

The horizontal parallax of Venus (~30 arc-sec) introduces a topocentric correction of up to 7 minutes with respect to the geocentric contact times for observers at different geographic locations. Topocentric contact times (Universal Time) and corresponding altitudes of the Sun are presented for over one hundred cities in Table 2A (international) and Table 2B (USA)

UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE UNCOVERED PROOFS THAT NASA/NOAA OBVIOUSLY REGULARLY NOW FAKE SOLAR OBSERVATORY REPORTS BY ERASING IMAGES OF CRITICAL SOLAR EVENTS FROM THEIR WEB ARCHIVES : ( watch video as posted in the blog of June 04)

I feels sad about NASA, since I had realized yesterday , that NASA/ NOAA operators ( as everyone can aprove by my video) ERASE CRITICAL SOLAR EVENTS from their image archives, such as the MASSIVE ELECTRON OUTBURST on June 04/ 20:45 UTC and the following solar ELECTRON storm that lasted until the next day

I have saved these images on June 05 ). The next day ( June 06) I found that all images on this event had dissapeared from all archives of SDO STEREO. What sometimes looks like a transmission gap can therefor in reality always be that kind of censorship likely made to tranquilize "surrender theoreticians". But the bigger question is: If all real significant and scientific relevant observations in this gigantic solar observatory program system are now only available for CIA or US and other government staff. WHAT IT IS THIS LARGEST SOLAR OBSERVATORY PROGRAM EVER STILL GOOD FOR? NASA OBVIOUSLY THINKS IT CAM/ MUST PERFORM THERE ONLY A GLOBAL A KINDERGARDEN!

- 3 - TERRESTRIAL

(INTERNAL RESEARCH PROJECT) : CMEs and RELATED TERRESTRIAL EFFECTS

JUNE- 01- 2012: After an usual low activity phase of about 7 days ( usual fluctuation) overall Sun activity began slightly to increase again on June 01 with the formation of new sun spot groups and backside activities. Two major Active Sun spot groups AR11493/94 rotated in on the East and will be on the Earth facing side appr. until June 21. AR 11493 is very complex and was active yet in producing prominences over the last days. Earth directed events might increase again over June but are usually rather low EFFECTIVE during this season by the Earth being on its Southermost distance from the Sun equator .

The large and still growing transequatorial Coronal hole CH 520 is coming into an Earth facing position on June 03- 04 . Statistically , large CHs seem to be connected with significant sudden drops in Earth`s global temperatures and related weather effects . CH520 - due to the NOAA report- is expected to create high speed solar wind speeds during the next days (probably when it begins to decay again) those will create turbulences in the geomagnetic field. There might be some transmission gaps in radio signals but also whale and dolphins beachings , as these animals easily lose orientation during geomagnetic storms.

Strong earthquake shakes buildings in Jakarta, injuring 2

JAKARTA, INDONESIA (BNO NEWS) -- A strong earthquake struck Indonesia's most-populated island on early Monday evening, injuring two people and damaging nearly two dozen buildings, officials said. The tremors were widely felt in the capital Jakarta, where earthquakes are not as common. The 6.1-magnitude earthquake at 6.18 p.m. local time (1118 GMT) was centered about 121 kilometers (75 miles) southwest of Sukabumi, a city in West Java. It struck about 24 kilometers (14.9 miles) deep, making it a shallow earthquake, according to Indonesia's seismological agency (BMKG)....read more...

Powerful solar tsunami 3 June 2012

New sunspot 1496 unleashed an impulsive M3-Class solar flare on June 3rd at 17:55 UTC. The explosion hurled a coronal mass ejection (CME) into space. The cloud does not appear to be heading for Earth, although this conclusion could be revised by further analysis. A powerful solar tsunami was produced at the blast site as well. Fortunately, amateur astronomer Thomas Ashcraft was monitoring the Sun from New Mexico when the flare occurred and he video-recorded the event. Solar tsunamis pose no direct threat to Earth. They were discovered back in 1997 by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO). In May of that year, a CME came blasting up from an active region on the sun’s surface, and SOHO recorded a tsunami rippling away from the blast site...read more...

Partial Lunar Eclipse of June 04

The first lunar eclipse of 2012 occurs at the Moon's ascending node in southern Ophiuchus about 6° northeast of Antares (mv = +1.07). It is best seen from locations in and near the Pacific Ocean (Figure 3). Most of the Americas will experience moonset before the eclipse ends while eastern Asia will miss the beginning of the eclipse because it occurs before moonrise. The Moon's contact times with Earth's shadows are listed below.

Peak of solar maximum on the way – rare type of solar storm sent a barrage of high-energy solar particles

On May 17, 2012 a moderate-sized M-class flare erupted from the Sun and sent out a barrage of high-energy solar particles that belied its initial intensity.

These particles traveled at nearly the speed of light, crossing the 93 million miles between the Sun and Earth in a mere 20 minutes and impacting our atmosphere, causing cascades of neutrons to reach the ground – a rare event known as a ground level enhancement, or GLE. Occasionally (approximately 10-15 times per decade), the Sun emits cosmic rays of sufficient energy and intensity to raise radiation levels on Earth’s surface to the degree that they are readily detected by neutron monitors. Usually scientists would expect this kind of ground level enhancement from a giant coronal mass ejection or a big X-class flare...read more...

remark ( by alien-homepage.de). Another even more "pure" proton storm occured on May 27after 5:05 UTC (> see previous reports in this blog) that obviously is not fully evaluated yet by NASA and NOAA. . The proton flux increased 10 times above normal levels after an almost invisible CMEon May 27 ( less electron- less spectacular lightening eruptions, protons even absorb lots of electrons from the geomagnetic field,) and needed until May 30 to decrease again to normal levels. ( as measured by GOES 13) No doubt that theses almost unvisible "dark" or antimatter" events are the most effective tpyes of solar eruptions. This year 2012- towards its maximumactivity in the 11 year solar cycle, the Sun produces all types of eruptions as well as performing its strongest kinds.

MBARI discovers new deep-sea hydrothermal vents using sonar-mapping robot

As the remotely operated vehicle (ROV) descended into the blue depths above the Alarcón Rise, the control room was abuzz with anticipation," wrote MBARI geologist Julie Martin in her April 22nd cruise log. "Today we [are] planning to dive on one of the strangest environments in the deep sea: a hydrothermal vent field.” Adding to the team’s excitement was the fact that this hydrothermal vent field had never been explored before. In fact, it had only just been discovered... by a robot. In February 2012, MBARI researchers embarked on a three-month-long expedition to the Gulf of California, the long, narrow body of water between Baja California and mainland Mexico. During the final leg of this expedition, marine geologists studied the Alarcón Rise, an active volcanic region near the mouth of the gulf. Volcanic "spreading centers" such as the Alarcón Rise are hotbeds of volcanic activity, where underwater volcanoes spread lava across the seafloor and hydrothermal vents spout water heated by magma beneath the seafloor to over 550 degrees Fahrenheit....read more...

Supervolcano drilling – The Campi Flegrei Deep Drilling Project aproved

The office of Naples mayor Luigi de Magistris has approved the drilling of a pilot hole 500 meters deep into the heart of a “supervolcano” in southern Italy. With a history of massive volcanic eruptions and ongoing deformation, this densely urban area including the city of Naples is exposed to a very high volcanic risk. Campi Flegrei caldera is a geological formation just a few kilometers to the west of Naples that formed over thousands of years following the collapse of several volcanoes. Researchers believe that if it erupted, Campi Flegrei could have global repercussions, potentially killing millions of people and having a major effect on the climate. Moderate to small eruptions from such calderas represent a major risk as well, particularly in urban areas such as a wider Naples region which counts more than 3 million people....read more...

3.3 EXPERIMENTAL EVENT FORECAST (2): GEOGRAPHIC IMPACT REGIONS WITH THE CONSIDERABLE HIGHEST CME EFFECTS BY THE LATEST CME IMPACT

EXPLANATIONS>

Green backcolored fields marks those regions where geomagnetic field density values during the CME impact was below 100 nT.

Yellow backcolored fields mark the regions with values above 100 nT./ Red backcolored field mark the regions , those were hit relatively strongest ( peak values) by the latest CME or CME cluster/
HOW TO READ THIS FORECAST> INCREASES IN VOLCANIC ACTIVITIES will - if- most probably occure - SOON AFTER CME impact- within the RED colored regions and between the red and yellow regions! STORMS, ICE MELTINGS AN FLOODINGS might- if- then most probably occureSOON AFTER CME impacts-within the RED COLORED REGIONS The relatively strongest EARTHQUAKE ACTIVITIES WILL MOST PROBABLY occure AFTER CME IMPACT (LATENCY!) on the TECTONIC BOUNDARIES between the RED and the YELLOW (backcolored) REGIONS. Minor ones between the yellow and green regions

Tropical Storm Mawar (Ambo) intensified as it continues to move northwestward across parts of Philippines

Tropical Depression Mawar (also known as Ambo or 04W) formed over the western Pacific Ocean on May 31, 2012, and strengthened to a tropical storm the following day. On June 1, 2012, the U.S. Navy’s Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) reported that Mawar was located approximately 215 nautical miles (400 km or 250 miles) east-northeast of Manila, Philippines. The storm had maximum sustained winds of just 35 knots (65 km/h or 40 mph), but over the next 48 hours, Mawar’s wind speeds were forecast to increase to 80 knots (150 km/h or 93 mph) with gusts up to 100 knots (185 km/h or 115 mph)....read more...

New Mexico crews race to corral largest wildfire

Albuquerque -- More than 1,200 firefighters battled the nation's largest wildfire Saturday in rugged mountains and canyons of southwestern New Mexico, racing to build lines to corral the huge blaze. The fire has charred more than 354 square miles of the Gila National Forest, and fire managers expected it to start burning down the mountains east of the community of Glenwood. While there was no immediate threat, residents there have been immersed in a thick haze of smoke for days ...read more,,,

<(3) (4)A short impulsive flare CME was visible in AR 11493 on June 02 after 04:16.This second event followed a previous unknown event late on MAY 31, as visible on images (1) and (2).Images of this previous event were not available on SDO at the time of this update . SDO had a malefunction afterwards . Both events created the impression of a LDE event ( but were indeed two following events). The CME however appeared as partial halo on SoHO (2)

While the Earth is moving "westwards (westwards= related to the sun disc= right side if images), it likely will cross the CME`s path and parts of this CME will hit the Earth appr. on June 04- 05,

CURRENTLY OBSERVED EVOLUTION OF SUN SPOT CYCLE ACTIVITY     20120614 report by:

alien-homepage.de

JUNE 14- 2012: THE SUN IS GOING AGAIN INTO A PERIOD OF ELEVATED ACTIVITY. A chain of several active regions with large Sunspots has formed out along about the
20 ° Southern Sun latidude and will rotate over the Sun disc until 20th of June The largest Sunspot in AR 11504 is likely the largest observed during this 11 year cycle maximum jet.
Since Begin of 2012, LARGE, SINGLE sunspots or sunspot groups performing (more ore less) one eruption after another have been the typical from of current Solar activity.
AR 11504 produced more than 20 flares and nearby filament eruptions since it emerged around June- 10. TWO CMEs are on their way to Earth ( see NOAA report below)

Quake-hit Afghan village could become mass grave

MULLAH JAN, Afghanistan — An Afghan village where more than 70 people are believed to have been buried in an earthquake-triggered landslide could be declared a mass grave, an official said Wednesday. Two shallow tremors less than half an hour apart on Monday unleashed a deluge of rock and earth that smashed into the remote village of Mullah Jan, in the mountainous Hindu Kush region. Villagers say 71 people, all women and children, were trapped in the landslide, and a disaster management official has described the chances of anyone surviving as "slim or non-existent". Mechanical diggers were at the site trying to clear rubble to find bodies or survivors, but Nasir Kohzad, the head of the natural disaster agency of Baghlan province, said the scale of the task made it difficult. "Part of a mountain has collapsed on a part of Mullah Jan village and there is over 60 metres of dirt to remove," he told AFP....read more...

Hundreds briefly evacuate as volcano erupts in northeast Indonesia

TERNATE, INDONESIA (BNO NEWS) -- Hundreds of residents in northeastern Indonesia fled their homes on Wednesday after a brief eruption at Mount Gamkonora, spewing towering columns of ash and smoke and prompting officials to raise the volcano's alert level to the second-highest state. The 1,635-meter (5,364 feet) tall volcano, which is located on the west coast of Halmahera island in the Maluku Islands and is part of North Maluku province, began to erupt on Wednesday afternoon and sent thick ash clouds up to 3,000 meters (9,842 feet) high, although no lava flows were seen...read more...

Delving inside Earth from space

12 June 2012 ESA astronaut André Kuipers is running experiments on the International Space Station that are shedding light on conditions deep inside Earth. Orbiting some 400 km above us, Geoflow is offering insights into the inner workings of our planet. Descending 3000 km under our feet, Earth’s mantle is a semi-solid fluid under our thin outer crust. The highly viscous layers vary with temperature, pressure and depth.Understanding how the mantle flows is a major interest for geophysics because it could help to explain earthquakes or volcanic eruptions. Computers can model it, but how can scientists be sure they are correct?Instead of probing Earth’s depths directly, six European teams led by the University of Cottbus in Germany looked to recreate aspects of mantle flow in a laboratory. Experiments simulating these conditions can verify and improve the computer models. This poses a different problem, however. How can gravity be simulated without Earth’s gravity itself influencing the results? The solution is to send an experiment to our largest weightless laboratory: the International Space Station.....read more..

<< (2) (3) a filament eruption was observed on June 12 on the South Western Quadrant near to the central meridian. Beginning around 15:00 UTC, the eruptions was accomponied by major activities in the aneighbored AR 11504 and 11507. The eruption continued until the morning of JUNE 13. It was visible on STEREO AHEAD ( 3) but not on SoHO ( likely as it occured rather central behind the protection shield. SoHO (1) just showed a not Earth directed filament eruption going off from the Southern polar region early on June 12.Its unclear whether parts of the CME will reach the Earth, if, then appr. on June 14- 15. AR 11504 has developed to the currently largest sun spot and AR on the visible Sun disc

SDF Number 164 Issued at 2200Z on 12 Jun 2012 IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 11/2100Z to 12/2100Z: Solar activity was low. Regions 1506 (N11E38), 1504 (S17E28), and 1507 (S27E02) were the most active regions on the disk. Each region was responsible for multiple C-flares during the period. The largest of these came from Region 1506 which produced a C2 flare at 12/0315Z. All three of these regions have shown signs of growth. There were no Earth-directed CMEs observed during the period.

            20120611 report by: heraldsun

CASUALTIES are feared in Afghanistan after several village houses collapsed as two earthquakes shook the country's mountainous Hindu Kush region, officials said.

Around 20 houses were destroyed in a landslide caused by the tremors in Burka district, in the northern province of Baghlan, the head of Afghanistan's natural disaster department Samim Afzali told AFP. "There are some unconfirmed reports of casualties and we have sent a team to the area," he said. The Baghlan provincial government spokesman, Mahmood Ahmad, said houses had been damaged in three districts - Burka, Jelga, and Nehrin - and casualties were feared. Another 10 houses had been destroyed in Ishkamish district in neighbouring Takhar province, Afzali said, but no fatalities had so far been reported from that area. The first quake, with a magnitude of 5.4, struck at 9.32am (1502 AEST) at a depth of 48 kilometres, with the epicentre around 160km southwest of the town of Faizabad, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said. Around 25 minutes later the second quake hit in almost exactly the same place, with a magnitude of 5.6 and a depth of 31km, according to the USGS. Buildings were felt shaking slightly in Kabul, around 170km to the south, during both quakes....read more...
