remarks: conjunction periods: The sideric rotation period of the Sun is ( wikipedia) 25 days and 9 hours The sinodic rotation period, when the same geographic position on the sun again appears at 00:00 UTC over the same Earth longitude ( 0° position) therfore is : 27. 2379746835443 days. To correct the uncorrectness , one quarter day will be added to each synodic rotation- period of 27 days , resp 1 day after all 4 rotation periods.

The trace of some Coronal Holes on this Sun longitude was lost through the year. resp the heliographic positions of several CH shifted. As the Sun`s rotation period is believed to be stable, "permanent or reorganizing" Sun spots as well has CHs are obviously sometimes kind of sliding (" inertia of mass" effect?) on the Sun`s surface and change by that their position for certain degrees during following rotation periods. Nevertheless- so far as they don`t dissapear (and would therefore be temporary) they keep about their form and location ( latitude) and are easy recognizable. The Coronal Hole tracing however will be newly adjusted in 2012. A new page will established for 2012, when first archived reports are available and a link to the new page will be posted here. The page will also be reorganised in 2012.
